Call it a weekend surprise, or whatever you want to call it, but we are also mildly shocked upon reading the news that Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino of TV’s “Jersey Shore” series locked down a deal to endorse a line of tuxedos. We also learned that it’s a six figures deal!
Looks like our Jersey Shore boy has been making his way to New York City and built a great relationship with tux manufacturer: FLOW Formal. CEO Brian Weintraub, clearly a fan of The Situation and said he’s the perfect spokesperson as the company is reaching out to younger demographic. Weintraub said:
“This is great for us and great for the industry. [Tuxedos have] become an old man thing.”
The line that’s appropriately named after its endorser “The Situation” includes tuxedos, slim-fit shirts and accessories. The tuxedo line launched earlier this year and currently, Sorrentino is filming its ad, and we have to ask you this: do you look forward to see The Situation’s dapper side?
